since that number is only important in the christain circle and not many japanese pecentage wise are of that religious belief i find it hard to believe that that was anything of any consequense to them. besides the artist just draws what and how long he is to draw not like he decides how long to keep the story moving.
I will miss eyeshield though honestly. it was one of the series that i looked forward to every week.

T_T nooooo...my favourite sport manga has come to an end...
no matter what anyone said about it being dragged on i still reckon it was worth it, this manga has really inspired me to watch and play american football, plus the story is sowell written
this will forever be one of the greatest and unique manga ever, love the ending, very befitting for all the characters, i half wish it would continue but no, all good things must come to an end

darn, am i the only one who is unsatisfied with the ending? the ending is a bit abrupt (since the mangaka must have wanted to stop drawing on the 333rd chapter)
i hoped there will be short episodes on revealing some of the 'most asked questions':
- the publicity after the match with the America? (people's view about hiruma, especially?)
- the Monta x mamori x hiruma (especially monta's classic reaction), sena x suzuna relationships
- the gap between sena's defeat to Saikyoudai team..
-hiruma's dad real face
&
- is hiruma really a human... his real face, perhaps?

Well, It could be worse. If Sena defeated Panther it would be kinda like an eternal dumb shounen.

the ending was alright, even though i personally thought it should of ended after the Christmas Bowl.
