Actually, I think Musashi's team has a chance at that. ^^ It's a team constructed out of pure power - Gaou, Tetsuma AND Musashi on one team? Plus the rest of the linemen as well. They can simply blast through any resistance, then kick to finish. Even with Yamato and Banba on the opposing side, it's not enough. Plus, remember that Kid was the only quarterback who managed to successfully nullify Hiruma's tactics completely. And Musashi isn't stupid either, and he knows Hiruma. Tricks won't work against those two. Their only weakness is the lack of receivers to go against Taka and Ikkyu.
Also, thematically, this manga is interesting, because it's slightly different from the other sports manga. The central theme of Eyeshield 21 seems to be "It's fun to challenge the strong". Most other shounen battle / sports manga would have "I want to be the best", or "I want to find the meaning of true strength" as their theme, but Eyeshield 21 has always been the case of the average-ability team or the ordinary man desperately challenging those who are stronger than them... not necessarily because they want to win, but because there's meaning in the process. Sena and Panther, Sakuraba and Shin, Unsui and Agon, Monta and almost every other receiver... all of them felt the same. Even Gaou was a restatement of that theme.
That's why I felt the ending really stood out well, especially with the talk between Unsui and Riku. They clearly stated the theme of Eyeshield 21 and capped it all off very well. "It's fun to challenge and defeat the strongest!"
