Yeah, he should have ended it when he could have on his own terms, at the end of the christmas bowl. Maybe do a spin off if he wants to keep drawing football manga but this story is clearly being stretched thin.

the best (as in the way it shows them not just trying to force the story to keep it going) possible way to explain why it moved so fast that hasnt been said already was maybe he asked for a way for sena and panther to duel it out before the end and they said sure but dont draw it out. now it could easily be what was already stated but hey the way to explain it that shows it in the best light is what i said. after all i dont want to think they just want to keep it going forever.

Well, better than I expected (not saying much) but still a waste of time and effort. They SHOULD have ended the series after the Christmas Bowl, this World Cup is just an excuse to let Sena have another go at Panther, nothing more. There's minimal interplay within Team Japan apart from Agon being a fuck, Chuubo was thrown in just for the hell of it and the opponents are a waste of ink.

However, despite people complaining about Sena beating "superstar NFL players", this is still only the Youth Cup, so it's not like he's beating guys way older and more experienced than him. Sena's basically guaranteed himself a place in any team in Japan's league already (even if he does win Morgan's prize sponsorship in the NFL he'll probably turn it down) so it's really not that much of a stretch.

how did germany get 24 points if Japan was so superior.....
