Does anyone else think Japan would have lost if they had drawn New Zealand. (I noticed they already decided that Canada will lose)

so I'm guessing they'll be fighting against:
-Russia
-Finland
-Germany
then America.

on the other bracket. America will be fighting:
-NZ
-India
-Korea
then Japan

that is if there is no loser's bracket or something >.>

Yeah, the tournament progression looks really obvious. The only exception to the above may be Finland. Hakkinen's appearance reminds me of Onihei's appearance (i.e. charismatic, cool, friendly... completely wiped out by a dark horse before he got to face Deimon). It's possible that the guys from Militaria will win over Finland (they've got a cool theme going... all soldiers. You can get a lot of storytelling drama out of that). But other than that, everything else looks pretty much predictable.

I'm kind of sick of the Japanese propaganda going on in this manga. First there was the stereotypical views of Blacks and now they are going to have Japan conquer the world in football.

IMO, they could use the nationalism. They had the stuffing kicked outta them in WWII, then were supressed ever since. They only recently got out of a HUGE depression...

I just hope Panther beats Sena in the end. He needs a shutting down after beating all the other running backs.

Oh let them have it, they're pretty terrible at every team sport in real life.

Not really, I wouldn't bitch if this was soccer or baseball. But football? They would get downright murdered.
