Im excited yet sad at the same time. I dont see hiruma getting picked as a qb for this new japan team..................maybe they get him as an assistant coach or something.

I wonder if it's gonna be a huge game or what...?
It's not gonna be fun if the "strongest of Japan" plays so many games.

Maybe Shien should be it.

Sadly, I can't imagine how the story can be good without Hiruma's plays. He was pretty much the most important part of the entire Deimon team.

i thought the extension was gonna be a drag, but after reading the new chapter, i'm actually interested in what happens. of course, it helped that they re-introduced panther who was pretty cool.

i'm pretty sure they'll have hiruma and kid and QB/backup QB. i wonder if yukimetsu will make it... doubtful though, considering how many talented receivers there've been.

having yukimitsu as a backup is nice though.
and I thought we finally get to know hiruma's father. T_T

Reminds me of Whistle!

Uh-oh. I'm very worried about this new arc. It's reminiscent of Initial D to me. They should have ended it with the Christmas Bowl, rather than extended it. Now what could have been a great ending has been neutralised, and the story has the potential to jump the shark (i.e. go from great to bad quickly).
