About LinkBacksAlthough predictable (and lame according to some), I would prefer the devilbats to win and a celebrate. Rather than being another slam dunk where they lose the final match and then they show random future moments.

well, it won't be a slam dunk ending because slam dunk ended with them beating the best team then losing the tournament. in ES21, the best team is the *last* team.

Slam Dunk ended very abruptly (due to productions I heard) but with what they had to run on, it was truly a great ending. They did not sugar coat it whatsoever, it was not some fairy tale bullshit that Eyeshield is turning out to be.
I had really hoped that they would get crushed but this turned out to be another Naga match replay.

more of an oujou match replay imo. we have yamato+taka = shin+sakuraba. except oujou's match was more interesting because it was what it was - a match between equals.

ending was quite anti-climatic.... never the less bring out the beer!
