    Default eyeshield 21 - 291th down

I love where this is going...hiruma being realistic and only score 1 touchdown.
and btw that ace from shinryuuji,is he or is she?

you do know that he was joking about being realistic right ? and that ace is a guy.

looks like we'll get to see more interesting strategies next chapter. it'd be sad if sena/monta suddenly become superior to yamato/taka.

    oo he's a guy..
I'm more concerned with their strategy card...hope they can beat yamato/taka with all of their member.

seems like it is destined to be Devil Bat's loss this time. This is kinda sad actually. What could be Hiruma's last thrump card? I bet it is to use Sena (Eyeshield 21).

I dunno about Deimon's loss. I would have agreed up till the match and in this chapter as well, but the whole Monta/Taka buildup and the mention of his low bp really makes me feel Taka will lose that matchup.

if there's a ridiculous way that deimon can win, it'd be:
    - 4 consecutive TDs with 2 pt conversions (32 pts) - massive hax
    - musashi kick from 60yds (3 pts) - zomg fulfills the 60yd magnum nickname
    - win in overtime somehow

I'd say the next chapter would be the one where the conclusion becomes clear.

Echo, you and I both know that as ridiculous as that sounds, the Shinryuuji and Ojou matches have made that possibility a true consideration.

I'm just saying I'm not so sure about the conclusion anymore (for now).

It's possible that Deimon can lose, since their goal from the start of the series was just to make it to the Christmas Bowl. If it'd been to WIN the Christmas Bowl then nothing could stop them, not even impossibility.

But at the moment I'd say the odds are around 50-50. Just scoring a single touchdown wouldn't be enough to override the idea that the match was futile from the very beginning, it'd only defeat Yamato's 42-0 prophecy, which is the HEIGHT of arrogance anyway. It's so small a victory that it's practically inconsequential and hardly a decent way to end the series. So, stupid as it is, they're still in with a good chance of outright victory- although that'll probably necessitate overtime.

But Musashi will undoubtably have to make a 60 yard kick.
