yamato's run was pretty lame, compared to all the other flashy moves that everyone else has. is that all there is to his "true" face?

i was underwhelmed as well. i mean, using strength seemed to be the obvious/predictable thing for him to have.

actually, i'm underwhelmed by teikkoku in general. minus taka, deimon would win for sure.

I hope Heracles can display his skills too. I am a little disappointed to see that only Taka, Yamato and Karin are real threats to Deimon, considering Teikoku's All Star status.

I liked it. Mainly because Sena's the underdog here, but also because that really is what American football is about.

Of course, this means Shin can kick Yamato's butt all the way across the field and back again, because not only does he have Sena's speed, but he has the Spear Tackle to completely stop any runner in their tracks.

^I agree that Shin would have probably been a better opponent against Yamato, but he's not equal to Sena in speed.

This is the typical pattern we've seen in all of the recent games. The threats end up being the RB, QB, and the receiver. But I think we might get more facetime for defense later, since the Haha trio, Komusubi, and Kurita haven't had any facetime yet.

At the end of the chapter, could it be that Sena finally managed to run 40 yards at 4.1 seconds? He caught up to Yamato who had already left him several meters behind.

There is no logic in the distance shown and the difference in speed in ES 21. It just looks flashy and cool..... Man I´m so disapointed in the "true strength".. I was thinking to myself that it would be the strength to walk on, but it seemed too obvious and tada it was the strength to walk on........

The predictability of this manga has outgrown even Bleach and Naruto.
