looks like he's strong as well. reminds me a bit of shin, actually. too bad we didn't get to see who received teh MVP for qb (though it'd probably be hiruma)

i think its a crock that Sena got the MVP. i mean, he IS the main character, but he's definitely not the MVP on deimons team.

Well I think Sena deserves to win the MVP award, but on the whole it should have been Sena and Monta in my opinion. I also think Hiruma is the quarterback mvp....shoot he should get a Kantou's best coach award. P.S- Here comes another OD powerful pretty boy...its never a tough looking dude(except for Shin...I think).

And who is? Hiruma?

No, Sena is without a doubt the MVP on Deimons team. Without him, the bats would still be mired in constant losing seasons. Hiruma's Brilliant, but brilliance means nothing without the right tools. Without Sena, Hiruma would never have gotten those tools. He and Kurita would be sitting on the sidelines, watching the award go to Shinryuji again.

Why are there only 3 individual awards? I thought Shin and Agon deserve to get something as well, e.g. Shin (Best Linebacker), Agon (Best Tight End).

do u understand what MVP stands for? its not about whether there would be or wouldnt be a Deimon team. its about whos crucial for victory. now, deimon can still win without Sena. But without Hiruma? its not even a team.

Yes I do know what it stands for, and Sena deserves it more than anyone else on that team. Sena has fought hard and made major, critical plays in every game we've seen since the start of the series. Plus Sena plays a major front line position, whose goal is scoring points for the team, so more people are bound to notice Sena (especially with his speed). Hiruma is a stationary figure (who can score, but these are exceptions, not the norm), whose tactics are more mental and unnoticeable. Hiruma has never bragged about his intelligence, plus you have to add that before Sena, Deimon was a team trapped in losing streaks (2, maybe 3, since there founding), so that just makes Sena more impressive looking to the people who judge for these awards.

Sena Kobayakawa is the key that opened the door to the Christmas Bowl, and he deserves this more than anyone else on the team.
