Well, as the title says...

Yeah, a really nice chapter. Kurita finally becomes more serious, he is aiming to become the no 1 in strength and decided to take Gaou head on. Whoah, what a courage. Suddenly, the Kurita we have known so far vanished just like that and the one standing in the field is a brand new Kurita with the thirst of power and strength.

This was probably the 2nd chapter I liked in the entire Hakushuu fight. I'm glad there was no plot hole with respect to Sena's injuries from Gaou and that Kurita is preparing to finally take his throne. The Hiruma/Sena connection was also well drawn out and I'm glad to see the devilbat dive finally being ignored for the finisher.

I knew Sena had to be injured. No way he was getting off a tackle from Gaou without any kind of injury.

It's only fitting that the final points should lie on Hiruma and Kurita, they were the beginning, and wanted the Christmas bowl more than anyone else. However, i'm convinced more than ever that this is Yoichi Hiruma's last play of the season. This will be the final blow to his injuries (which are more than likely much more serious than Sena's, which are probably minor), and put him out of the C. Bowl.

Plus, did anyone else love how Jumonji looked in this chapter?

+1 to urameshi, this is definitely one of the best chapters of the hakushu arc. i was totally expecting them to force it, even with sena being like that. and with this, the major gaping plot hole was closed.

nah, i don't think hiruma will be knocked out, even with the injuries. i'm sure that everyone will get their injuries healed by the time christmas bowl rolls along. it just wouldn't be interesting watching deimon play without hiruma. not to mention they'll need to be at full strength if teikoku is as good as implied by the manga.

i also always know that sena will noticed his injuries later on...

i just hope sena won't doing the try for point finishing blow again, i want to see other player to succeed it..

i just hope its hiruma..
& hiruma can rest in peace (not that i want him to die..no!) if he got the chance of being the hero here... ^^
