hm, i don't understand though. if marco can screw-bite if sena goes left or right, why can't he still screw-bite in that scenario ? won't spoil it for the people who haven't read yet.

Sena is not injured; either Gaou went easy on him or he has titanium bones.

THe screw-bite attack works by Marco snaking his arm around the ball as the player is making a spin move on him. Because Sena crashed into Marco head on he couldn't get his hand in position to grab the ball.

Speaking of crashing head on, Sena finally uses that speed of his as real weapon and takes out another player

Well, about Sena's body I thought that the chest was much sturdier and was much more well protected than the arms.

After all, Kid and Hiruma were attacked directly on the arms, which are much less sturdy than the naturally protected chest.

That was why I thought Sena was relatively less harmed by Gaou's attack than Hiruma was. Also Sena was completely expecting the blow so he probably probably prepared his body to absorb as much of the blow with his speed and such as possible.

Regardless, it was an awesome chapter. A vertical light devilbat hurricane.

^Kid and Hiruma were both hit head on in the body, not the arm. Its just he crushed their arms from the side.

^I thought the reason that Kid and Hiruma were so seriously injured was because from the pain from the broken arm? After all it is easier to break an unprotected arm than it is a covered and padded torso.

Kid and Hiruma were both hit first on the upper arm by Gaou.
Sena, on the other hand, was only hit in the torso.

I think skl337 right,if you watch closely both hiruma and kid had their arms destroyed by direct hit...while sena get hit in the chest..but that still don't make sense...ah well whatever we still got real eyeshield 21 waiting for them though....about the chap,looks like this battle will end with 2p conversion??

it just occurred to me that these recent plays were not really catching my eyes compared to deimon's plays in the match between shinryujii naga..

i thought for a sec that the dragon fly tactic in chapter 270 will be awesome to read, but it turns out to be a mere sena passing to monta.. hmm.. it is really because hiruma can't play well with his arm & deimon actually just a mere boring team that only win because of will?

i hope for the later episodes will be much more interesting like the ones in the match between shinryujii's...
as for the outcomes, i can only see that if deimon wins:

- sena will be doing the quarterback's training also after the match if hiruma still cannot coped with his injured hand..
- hiruma still take part in the match but using left hand (or maybe using the same tactic, gargoyle?) or he maybe magically recovering...
- well, i cannot come up with any third possibilities, though...
