Marco got owned! The match at the Christmas Bowl, is going to be difficult, but if the Nagas could do it, why can't they?
Once again, another idiot falls into Hirumas taunts and Marco gets a taste of his own medicine. By far this is the best chapter to date, and we get a clue into who the Devilbats will be facing in the Christmas Bowl. But what kinda of team is Teikoku Gakuen, and why did all of Bandos starting lineup transfer there? Hopefully the we'll get an answer in the next few chapters.
@urameshi
good job on the call, i had completely forgotten about that team after the bando match
@redeyephantom
yahh, i'm getting vibes of a shinryuuji repeat - classic underdog vs undefeated force. which actually reminds me of this year's superbowl. then again, i'm no fan of the NY Giants, so i actually prefer the Pats to win.
@NothingGood
yah, it's definitely one of the better chapters. maybe since kurita slammed marco to the ground (perhaps injuring him), sena can now get past him easily. i think all the bandos aces transferred there 'cause it's a better place ? it's pretty natural for someone to want to go to a team that can win.
then again, i think all the bando's aces will appear only as subs - then it'll be like, "omg those were our aces, but they're not even good enough to play starting positions!"
5 minutes still to play. Guess that means 4 more chapters on the Dinosaurs game, minimum.
@shai
probably but I think marco is finished...
@blaze
I thought about that too maybe that teikoku is so strong that bando's aces only subs there.but it seems like the 3rd year knew something about it.

Yea, it's easy to say that Marco sustained some injury, though not as bad as Hiruma got. As for the tranfer of the Bando starters just because it's a better place, I have to disagree. Theory1- Teikoku Gakuen were the reigning champs before Shinryuuji defeated them, and continued to defeat them every time they met at the Xmas Bowl. In a desperate attempt to defeat Shinryuuji, Teikoku looks at other schools that have outstanding players and using underhanded methods (variation on Hirumas threatbook) they transfer those players to make a team that is virtually unstoppable. I know this theory has holes like ' why didn't they get some of Ojous players like Shin, or Hakoshuus Gaou'? I don't know, I just put the idea up front
^I doubt Marcoh sustained any injury considering the comic last page of this chapter.
As for my theory, I agree. Teikoku must have already been an established power since the start of Shinryuuji (theory 1). I also agree in how you described Teikoku recruiting players by using underhand methods. I personally think Teikoku has strong industrial and financial ties in Japan, since most of the Teikoku guys who transferred moved because their parents' were transferred at work. And I also believe Teikoku selects for players who are the best all-rounders and specialists, since people like Akaba were heavily vied for.
As for why some of the best players we have seen haven't been inducted into Teikoku, the answers are simple if you go on a case-by-case basis. Oujou wasn't especially impressive till the last 2 years, with the addition of Shin and Sakuraba. And even then, they were rookie players who have become excellent players with the growth since they joined football. Also, there is the fact that both Oujou and Shinryuuji value their players especially much. Their teams are much more of closed societies than, say, Deimon's team because they have respected and established coaches leading the way (this is also the case with Seibu). The only other good teams we have seen so far have lacked coaches altogether but had respected football programs(Taiyou) or were dark horses (Deimon and Hakushuu). Basically, the reason Bandou was robbed was because it had unstable support and leadership (from that one rookie coach). Now that I think of it, there must have been financial pressuring to close the football team in Bandou because that coach was eventually fired anyways.
Anyways, if Teikoku tried to pressure good players from schools with illustrious football programs, there would be much more risk of their misbehavior being revealed and publicized since those schools have a reputation of their own.
I can't remember if shinryuuji was the christmass bowl champions or always made it to the christmas bowl because if they only always made it to christmas bowl they could have always been defeated by Teikoku...

like most sites that give cash for surveys but it's also a browser base game where they give you ingame money and real money for survey completion ingame money can be stolen by you or opponents and can be used to buy ingame equipment or get enough of it to to trade to get real game consoles and money...
^We haven't gotten an answer either way just yet, but you can bet it will be answered by the end of this match.
