A Hiruma Comeback and it's totally like him.

I wonder wether he has more such tricks, he will need them cause this one won't work a second time.

I've been missing this chap.

Anyways, like pretty much all of us expected, Hiruma isn't left undamaged. I just hope the fact that he can play the next game. It would be uber lame (to me) to have games without Hiruma. He is more interesting than Sena to me. I think that's why I found the last few chapters so boring.

Even though Hiruma can't pass anymore, he can still be the commander since he can give instructions and future plans to Sena and his teammates. What I'm really looking forward to right now is how Sena and Monta can beat Marco and Kisaragi.

But, the problem is, Marcoh is sure to notice Hiruma's weakness. A tackle from any regular player is all it takes to KO Hiruma from the game again.

Dam it would suck if this time both of his legs were crippled..

seriously it would that's why they need another strategist/catcher/evil villian(but the team can't handle 2 hirumas)

The only ones left in the team who are smart enough to make good plans are Juumonji, Yukimitsu and Musashi. None of them can replace Hiruma though.

^Juumonji and Musashi aren't smart in the way needed to be a qb. Both of them have the spirit of the team, making them good players, but qbs need both good intelligence and creativity, and both of those candidates lack that creativity despite showing technical expertise.

On the other hand, Yukimitsu has the potential to become (note how I didn't say he is) a tactical genius. After this match, Hiruma is likely not going to be in the championship game. And having Sena as qb defeats the purpose of Monta's existence, which can't happen after Honjou promised a good fight to come. Also, Sena isn't going to suddenly learn how to throw at this point in the season, because he could have done it between earlier games if it was that easy.

Therefore, Yukimitsu (still) holds the most potential to become Hiruma's successor.

i guess hiruma would probably practice to throw with his left?

that's what i said right after he got injured. he'll probably also be training sena on how to properly be a QB.
