Ok this one got me buy suprise somehow, although it probably shouldn't have.
Spoiler: Sena is the hero of this series, so it really should not have surprised me. This will get interesting though, Sena throwing the ball? I can't really see that.

I wonder how fast can he pass to Monta and how well can he cooperate with Yukimitsu to make the Option Route successful.

To be honest, i expected the substitute quarterback to be Yukimitsu.

it's not too much of a surprise, considering Seibu did the exact same thing when Kid got hurt. Riku took the QB position and went purely with runs.

I think that's whats going to happen again. I doubt there's going to be any throwing.

I would have incapacitated myself laughing if Ishimaru was the quarterback. But Hiruma was right if you eliminate everybody who can't do it Ishimaru is the natural choice.

And stop advertising venicia it's getting annoying.

It may sound arrogant, but I think I can safely say I saw this coming ages back. Sena's the main character, of COURSE it's going to be him.

One thing I find a touch puzzling though- why did Hiruma use the last of his strength to kick Kurita? He normally only does that to congratulate people, not encourage them, and that last play was hardly something Kurita needed to be congratulated on. Then again, maybe Hiruma was just taking his last chance to thank Kurita for protecting him as long as he did up until then, which was impressive (unprecedented, in fact).

Still, there's no statistical way the Devil Bats can win unles they can do something decisive about Gaou. At the moment, Hakushuu have the lead and score a touchdown with 100% certainty every time they get the ball. Unless Deimon stop Gaou, it's over. On the other hand, the removal of Kisaragi means that, if Sena can manage to pass, there's no-one who can stop Monta.

Well so far monta can't do the back fire cause sena can't pass to him. The guy from the other team got hurt, so monta can catch the balls easily, but passing would be hard, so it's up to sena to pass decently.
Kurita is gonna get a power up.
