Thread: Why Hakushuu sucks.

Well at first I thought that hakushuu sucks.That's before I know marco and kisaragi.

While I must admit that this match is pretty boring but it'll make deimon and most importantly the linemen of deimon to realize there are people out there that will depend on their strength to win.
and for some reason I was happy to know that hiruma getting injured...more mamori and hiruma scenes...

^I like the MomoHiru scenes too. I just don't want to see Hiruma out for the rest of the season though...

I still think poorly of Kisaragi and Marcoh just seems like a mob boss. But, I also feel its time for the linemen to show their worth. We've had every other character debut in matches:

Sena-practically every match he's been in
Monta-Shinryuuji and Oujou
Hiruma-Shinryuuji and Oujou, all the tactical plays in the matches prior
Yukimitsu-Shinryuuji
Taki-his first match, Bandou, Shinryuuji

As for the linemen...Komusubi has had his fight against Mizumachi, but that's the only really notable victory, aside from Kurita's battles against Taiyoh and Oujou.

I wouldn't say that the hakushuu match sucks, i would say it was an idea the writer had that backfired, all of Deimons last few matches have had such build ups before hand, learning quiet alot about each character, then comes Hakushuu with so much mystery, all we know is Gaou's a big guy that slaughters people, we know nothing about Marco except that he looks like a mob member, and nothing else about the team... After having built up the matches between Oujou, and Shinryuuji many chapters before, then we get something random, its a bit different

and the injury i think was needed like MattTaylor said, no one getting hurt yet is amazing, he had to show somehow that deimon is still vulnerable and that there is giong to be bettter stronger teams up to come, or a team depending....

Yeah the other linemen need a bit more love. More individuality for old Fish-lips (Hirako?) and Togano! Juumonji is awesome and all, but I like the other two as well...

I kinda wanted Oujou vs Devilbats on the Finals that would be an icing over the cake. But I guess the author put the dinosaurs on the finals to emphasize the name "Teikoku Gakuen" and that they will use POWER aside from the fact that they have the REAL EYESHIELD21. ^^

I think you meant Kuroki and Togano, but yeah.

man, do you even know the rules for football in the first place? -.- because my brother plays football, i love watching it (yea so what, girls like football too )

anyway, you can get injured in the NFL, and that will not get the so called "ban" unless you did it on purpose or if the ref deems it was on purpose. and overall, the entire series is bs anyway. no i way in hell can most if not all of those "moves" can happen in the NFL, and besides, he bent some of the rules so it could look cool in the manga

and remember this is a manga, so he can do what ever he wants in out. but its still enjoyable . as a football fan, i say "what the hell is this?" as a manga fan, "tee hee, this manga is so funny and good" ^^ i think gaou is cool and the rest of the team is too XD

This game has turned out much better than I expected it was going to. We go from the pure awesomeness of the games against the Naga and the White Knights to a bunch of guys, who at least at first, just seem like a bunch of jobbers. Sure, they beat the Gunmans, but that doesn't elevate them above jobber status. Gaou turned out to be badass enough to get Kurita's balls to drop at long last, and Marcoh is an interesting way of providing Sena with a worthy opponent for this match without making it Sena vs. Agon/Shin 2.0.

At least IRL there's a month between the Kantou/Kansai tournaments and the Christmas Bowl, so I'm looking forward to what the Bats are gonna do regarding Hiruma(since there's no way they'll pull a Slam Dunk... -_-).
