How do you expect the tournament to turn out?

In all likelihood, Deimon will miraculously beat Seibu (with the help of musashi), and then face oujou and continue to win. and then go to the christmas bowl to face other tough competitors, and at the very end, defeat the shinryuuji nagas.

Yup. It seems fairly clear to me that they will continue to win in the tournament. What isn't clear though is how many side quests they will face before that happens.

As you might've noticed after every match there seems to be a side quest / event. In this way they can all grow and get stronger and face stronger oponents and still have the inevitable happen - that they win the christmas bowl.

While knowing the ending, it is still an enjoyable manga. For it isn't the ending but the process that makes the manga interesting.

I already know what is going to happen in the Deimon vs. Seibu match so I won't make a comment ...

In the end, Deimon will probably end up facing off against Shinryuuji at the Christmas Bowl and defeat them since Eyeshield 21 looks like the type of mindset that would want a happy ending. There might be another superior team for surprise or something, but Deimon will probably win the tournament in the end.

I personally would prefer a Slam Dunk ending. It was very realistic and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Eyeshield 21 is a lot more dramatized but it still has elements of realism (unlike Prince of Tennis which is like DBZ tennis!).

Or they'll loose and the manga takes a break then continues when they all have grown a bit. And they start a senior team or something and kick ass in the rice bowl?

In my opinion they will lose the Christmas Bowl, but they going to end on some of a kind international tournament where the can fight with the Nasa Shuttles.

Bah they are going to win, if they lose the addition of musashi would have been pointless and proves that the devil bats are still not good enough even if they have gotten all their specialist positons(don't know what you call them). Thats why they will win.

Yeah, there might be a possibility that they will lose the Christmas bowl because this manga is unpredictable...

I think they may lose then hiruma will threaten the princable so he and fatasss could stay, and the kicker probably fails automatically (to many abesences). They will train and they will be 72|-| pznzorz (forgive me if my 1337 sucks). Or they will win and there wont be much story left =(

well CMIIW but if I remember it right Musashi quit the school already, and he could join the deimon team just because Hiruma manipulated the data/registration or something
