Manga Requests!!! Read Before Posting!!! [Rules]
Like every subforum, the Download Requests section has section-specific rules. Here they are:
1) The global rules of StopTazmo apply here. Flaming, advertising - against the rules. That's a perma-ban offense and I WILL track your IP. I can do that. I don't get tired of this kind of thing, either. Ban-dodging is also included (if you come back to flame or continue breaking rules).
Oh, and StopTazmo doesn't accept manga requests unless you're a premium member, so don't bother.
2) StopTazmo is an English site. English only. You can ask for manga/anime/music that is in a different language, but that request had better be in English. Chatspeak will earn you flaming and nothing else; this is a FORUM, you can take the time to post properly or your request isn't important enough. (If your English sucks because it's not your first language, okay. That's fine. We don't really care. If we don't understand you, we'll tell you. You don't need to apologize.)
3) Spam is bad. If you don't have a request that has not been asked before, or are responding with a site, DO NOT POST. I don't care if you can't find the manga either. I don't care if it's a good manga. I WILL delete your posts and repeated spam WILL net you a ban. This is one thing that I REALLY hate.
4) When in doubt, search. If you are looking for a popular manga, it has probably been asked before (if we don't have it). Click on "search" - use "advanced search". Search "Download Requests" subforum with your manga name (try using parts of it or abbreviations, in case it's been asked before with a different name). There. Now you know how to search.
5) StopTazmo is a HOSTING site. We do not scanlate manga. Therefore, we are not responsible for updating manga that has not been scanlated. If we don't have more chapters of something, it probably hasn't been scanlated. Don't even bother to create a thread about it.
6) Missing chapters should be reported in the Help Section. I will move threads if I see them, but please try to post them there first.
7) No Necroing. Bump an old thread ONLY if you have a correction to make to it: for example, if a link is incorrect and there are no alternates. Do not post to say "I want this too". Do not post with another link when the thread is years old, particularly if you spam this (and it's to a site like mangatraders). Currently, I have been deleting posts rather than banning, but I might change this in the future.
Not a big deal but since I'll get upset about it - be detailed in what you're looking for and what you can and cannot use. If you're looking for a manga, say "manga" in your post. If you can't use Bittorrent because your school computer blocks it, say so!
I don't care if you don't know how to use IRC because even morons can use #lurk. It's one thing to not be able to install IRC or BT because of computer restrictions, but it's another to say you can't use them because you don't want to learn (or install them, or whatever). Most anime, and a number of manga, are only available through these methods. LEARN TO USE THEM.
9) PMing or e-mailing me requests gets you banned, sweeties. Simple as that. It's permanent and you'd better make sure I don't see you again, because I am not happy about my private communication areas being filled up because you wanted a request quicker. Yes, I'm the mod here, but I am not your personal slave. I'm more like your monarch. You don't ask the prime minister if she can help you find a manga that you're too lazy to look for, because she's busy running your country (or, in this case, the subforum - and three OTHER subforums).
10) Recommendation threads are for Misc. Series. Not here. There are so many in that subforum (especially on comedy series) that you're bound to find something you're looking for. (If in doubt, read Berserk or Nana. They're for almost everyone.)
Following them would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
