Thread: Is Boxtorrent a good site?

They have torrrents of lots of complete series like Monster, Hana Yori Dango etc.. Are they ok?

Sometimes they suck like when they drop a 2go torrent when i was at 87% ².

very good site, some of the old torrents are still seeded but its best to go for the ones with at least 5 seeds.

Not as good as HongFire. Or the Toshokan.

Boxtorrents USED to be good, but their recent changes to their rules have made it feel like the army lol.

Also they're a nightmare for getting reseeds alot of the time. They're all right if you really want something and dont mind waiting for it.

Hongfire is alot better, and a lot more friendly ive found. Alot easier to get reseeds and alot of whats on boxtorrents can either be found on HF or put up if requested.

Several anime and manga groups now do their official releases through HF aswell, i think that speaks for itself.

Too bad HF is currently... well, broken. Longest update ever. Yes, I know you can still get to the torrents, and yes it is still getting new torrents added, but it's far from the efficient system it was 4 months ago.

Er, what does "they're a nightmare for getting reseeds" mean? I'm not very familiar with the workings of torrrents.. From what I've seen, there are a lot (more than 5) seeders for most of the popular mangas.

Also, where can I get the torrents from HF? As people have said, their torrent link is down.
