    you mean like the book when you read then it give you a choice like (to open the door turn to page 56 to blow up the door turn to page 8 you mean those books?

    most likely its like the CYOA : (choose your own adventures) ... some of them can be found on edonkey and limewire .... i have ones from gamma world .
