Thread: China Girl

Has anyone been reading China Girl?

From the first couple of chapters, it seems like quite a funny story about (unrequited) love across a deep language and cultural divide.

There's been some controversy over the Chinese-Japanese translation and perceptions about immigration by the author (and whether it is unintentionally offensive), and you may or may not like the artwork, but I for one am curious to see how the story evolves.

In any case, the scanlation seems to have stopped after Pure Scans closed shop and passed China Girl on to Opposed (#opposed@irc.irchighway.net). I believe there is a 3rd chapter on Opposed's IRC which hasn't been put on stoptazmo yet. I'd be happy to submit it, but my uni blocks IRC. Any volunteers ? Thanks!

There is a chapter 3 out there, yes, but I haven't been able to find a DDL myself.

It would be sad if this project simply disappeared.

According to Baka Manga Updates, it is only 1 volume long.
