Thread: Completed manga recommendation.....

Hye there!!! I'm currently following naruto, bleach , cross game , fairy tail ,hayate the combat butler, orange yane no chiisana ie ,mahou sensei negima, historys strongest disciple kenichi , air gear, etc.... heheh.... but while waiting for new chapter, i'm totally frozen here and also eyeshield 21 had just finish too. . anybody have any good manga to keep me warm?? heheh.... by da way, i really lurve adachi mitsuru manga..... been collecting quite a bit of them... preferwnces are comedy, fun, not to heavy, romance, ecchi, hentai (just a little might do) and anything which can make me smile... heheh..... plz.....

So first, make sure you've gotten everything from Adachi. The ones not on your list are: Rough, H2, Katsu!, Slow Step (incomplete scanlations), Cross Game (ongoing), Q & A (ongoing), and his anthologies of short stories (Anthologies vol. 3, Short Program 1-3, Idol A).

You seem to be okay with sports manga, so try Hajime no Ippo. More than 80 volumes of boxing, and still ongoing. Very cool and adrenaline-pumping at times. Plus there's quite a bit of humor too.

Ranma 1/2 suits your bill exactly. Light comedy and fun romance... think of it as the predecessor to School Rumble... with anything-goes martial arts thrown in. And Maison Ikkoku by the same author gives you a lovely romance in the same vein as Living Game or Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie. Both are completed.

Love Collage (a.k.a. Ai Kora) would also be interesting - a harem romantic comedy like Love Hina or Ichigo 100%, but with a twist. Still ongoing, unfortunately. Also, Open Sesame is a nice lighthearted romance, but extremely slow-paced. Yume de Aetara (by the same mangaka as Orange Roof) is another romance that should be finishing soon.

And since you seem to be okay with shoujo, read Skip Beat! (still ongoing), Hot Blooded Woman (complete), Ouran High School Host Club (ongoing) and Tokyo Crazy Paradise (complete). Lovely Complex, Special A, and Kaichou wa Maid-samaare good too. All are lighthearted school romances. Perfect Girl Evolution (a.k.a. The Wallflower) will be very funny for the first 5 volumes or so, but then starts to get boring.

Oh, and read Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) if you haven't yet.
