Sounds like a female who happens to also like reading shounen manga with bishounen characters in them. Digi would probably be the best person to recommend stuff, since she has similar tastes, but anyway...
Try some of the following series:
- Rurouni Kenshin (samurai assassin tries to forget his past and live life simply when he meets the daughter of a kendo dojo, but characters and enemies from his past keep on interrupting their lives. Like Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, only better.)
- Ouran High School Host Club (poor girl who wants to become a lawyer gets sucked into a group of rich boys who are setting up a host club for rich girls. Each of the guys has their own charm and appeal. Full of comedic situations, bishounen, and a touch of romance. Think Fruits Basket without the angst.)
- School Rumble (recommended with a caveat - don't expect a conclusive ending. An ordinary high school girl falls in love with the blandest, most boring guy in her class, and would do anything to confess her love. At the same time, the school's most notorious delinquent falls in love with her, and would do anything to confess his love. The resulting hijinks gradually draws in family, friends and schoolmates into an all-out battle for love. Very high comedy values, with some nice romantic scenes too.)
