Thread: Plotless Comedy Anime Recomendations

I really need more of these.
And I don't want any that involve too much dramaz between a boy and a girl.

Think: Hayate, Kyouran Kazoku, and Penguin Musume.

And don't debate about the plotlessness of those three, when I say plotless, I just loosely mean a large lack of seriousness. Maybe the phrase I'm meaning is parody anime, but oh well.

Ai Kora? (Or Love & Collage, same thing)
Guy with fetish for "parts" in a harem-esque story. It gives you laughs and the main character is not your every day harem male lead.

Can't think of any others at the moment, sorry.

If you're looking for a lack of seriousness and/or parody - check out Excel Saga. It's pretty funny.

Excel Saga the Anime is good... The Manga has a plot and is rather ..."exhausting" to read.
Other ones who barely have a plot are Azumanga Daioh and Sketchbook, both as Manga and Anime.

Hmm... I think the term you're looking for is slice-of-life, rather than plotless. But I could be mistaken. In any case:

Plotless schoolgirl comedies: (All feature a bunch of schoolgirls doing funny things. Rather low-key humour)
- Azumanga Daioh
- Minami-ke
- Lucky Star
- Manabi Straight
- Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
- Hyakko! (ongoing series this season)

Plotless harem/romantic comedies: (all feature some element of romance, though there are stronger comedic sitcom elements.)
- Ranma 1/2
- Nagasarete Airantou
- Seto no Hanayome
- Love Hina (anime. The manga has stronger plot continuity and drama.)
- School Rumble (up to a point. Things slowly get more dramatic about halfway through the first season. But it does have tons of parodies and over-the-top humour.)
- Kemeko Deluxe! (ongoing series this season)

Other plotless comedies:
- Yotsubato!
- 2x2 Shinobuden (a.k.a. Ninja Nonsense)
- Bottle Fairy (moe fairies doing moe things)
