Elfen Lied gets better as it goes.

Try Battle Royale, Berserk, Anne Freaks, and Eden.

Hm all seinen without or with just a little super powers I know are.
    Angel Heart____(detective?/mysterious)
    My Girl________(education/being parent)
    Vinland Saga___(action/historic)

The second doesnt really fit to your examples, but to your describtion.

    ^ oh yes forgot
    Anne Freaks____(revenge/action)

None of these are action, but they're all seinen and good:

Yokohama Kaidaishi Kikou - Life in a countryside cafe after the ecological collapse

Living Game - Life during recession, with romance

Emma - Historical romance with class conflict

Happy! - Life as a tennis star with everyone trying to use you.

My Girl (Sahara's series; ETA: same as nroejb's title above) - Life after suddenly discovering you have a five-year-old daughter, after her mother (your ex) dies

See how those go over for you, and we can refine the recs from there.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.

Hmm... maybe Team Medical Dragon as well. An exiled surgeon is called back to medical duty in one of the top hospitals in preparation for an extremely dangerous and risky experimental operation. But to do that, he first needs to assemble a top-class team, and overcome the problems that caused the Establishment to throw him out in the first place.

There's also Gunsmith Cats, which is about a pair of female bounty hunters running a gun shop in Chicago. Rally Vincent is an expert shot and gunsmith, and her partner Minnie May is a nymphomaniacal explosives expert. Together, they go after various bounties and criminals infesting Chicago, ranging from simple kidnappers to heavily-armored smugglers, Russian mafia and druglords.

    Oo -- TMD's a good suggestion.

Another possibility, given Lone Wolf mention, is Blade of the Immortal.

thx for respond, although many things here i had read them allready. Like guncatsmith, blade of the immortal, living game, happy.
Am saving Yokohama post armagedon cafe and Yotsubato for later. You cant really read angel heart without reading City hunter, and sadly is not scalated neighter licensed in my country. TMD woud be the best i guess, but the translation work is kind of slow... and right now a have enough series to wait for (berserk....) to add one more.

Anyway guys keep it going, thx.

PD:i finished elfen lied and its still desapointing...

You dont really have to read CH to read AH (I read AH first), the City Hunter plot is changed in Angel Heart anyway (the time he first met kaori, her whole characterisation or the time/way her brother died)
And at least the City Hunter Anime should be available nearly anywhere.

Shin Angyo Onshi is good and long, I think all YOUN In-Wan/YANG Kyung-Il manhwas are good (guess I just wrote that somewhere else)
Excel Saga Is strange, as strange as the anime but in another way... kind of complicated language... but you should try (all you can get of it)
