Thread: Manga based drama

recently ive been watching soem manga based dramas like gokusen, kimi no petto and nobuta wo produce
so i wanted to watch some other manga based dramas
so any recommendations???

Hana-Kimi (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e)
Hana Yori Dango (two seasons' worth)
Nodame Cantabile

and if you don't mind Korean manhwa as well, Goong (a.k.a. Gung, a.k.a. Princess Hours)

... I just realised that far more shoujo manga gets translated into drama than shounen/seinen does. Huh.

If you're willing to look at live-action movies as well, there's Adachi's Touch and Rough, Death Note, and Love My Life, of the top of my head.

Nobuta was a manga?!

I've only seen the dramas of these, but:
Kurosagi
One Pound Gospel
LIFE
Zettai Kareshi (not as good as the others, though. It was sorta 'meh'.)

I think Proposal Daisakusen was based on a manga, but I'm not sure.

(In terms of ones I haven't seen: Yasuko to Kenji (airing right now) and Yuukan Club.)

I hope it's okay to post my question here because I didn't want to start a new thread since this basically about the same thing. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the black cat dramas?
