Thread: Oneshot Recommandation?

From time to time i like to read the rather short stories. (I have to confess so far i've not read much Oneshots, i was rather the type that only reads hole manga)
So i hope you can recommend some Oneshots/Collections of short stories like these to me:

Hotel
Present
Short stories of Koi Tomurai
Short stories of Suki ni Naru Made Matte
Short stories of A Revolutionist in the Afternoon and Keep on Vibrating
Assasins Plan (<-- lol shortest Oneshot in the world)
Terror

...well i guess thats all, like i said i've not read many Oneshots so far. The thing is there are sooooo extremely many of them thats its nearly impossible to find really good ones by just randomly looking through them.

In general or usually i would like to read some sad, dark, psychological and/or mystic (plus romance may be included) genre onehsots. But i guess its best if you just post your favorite Oneshots, since i'm open to almost every genre.
The artwork is not that important but please refrain from yaoi/shonen ai

Hmm... I don't know many oneshots in the genres you specified, but I do have a couple of short story anthologies that are worth reading:

Eat-Man is a collection of stories about Bolt Crank, the World's Greatest Mercenary, who can eat anything and make it reappear from any part of his body... including all sorts of guns. Each chapter is usually Bolt or one of his friends on a different mission, and almost all of them feature some sort of twist at the end.

Salad Days is a collection of short stories about love and romance - usually of the high school variety, but including elementary school all the way to adults. Each story is usually 1-2 chapters long, and cover all themes and aspects of love - love rewarded, love forgotten, love betrayed, love triumphant, first love, old love, new love, lost love, etc. Probably the best anthology of romance stories in manga I know of.

Also, Rumiko Takahashi's Rumic World has some dark/spiritual stories, and Mitsuru Adachi's Short Program has some stories about youth.

School Days Is a 2 vol. long Drama/romance short story.
Description Shamelessly stolen from Baka updates ._.

The story revolves around a love triangle between the male protagonist, Makoto, and two girls in his year, Kotonoha and Sekai.

Makoto develops an interest in Kotonoha, and although they both take the same train to school, she seems to be unaware of his existence. One of his classmates, Sekai, gets the two together despite holding strong feelings towards Makoto.

Other then that, I know very few short stories...

But perhaps I'll try out the ones recommended here^

+1 for grazing through Kotonoha's backlist of scanned one-shots.

Aoi Destruction. Which is actually a three shot. Still good though.

Kotonoha's oneshots sure seem to be good since Present and Hotel are also scanlated by them, i 'll check out the rest of their oneshots.

I've allready read it. School Days is nice too, even tho' i wouldnt consider it a Oneshot resp. a collection of short stories^^ but anyways its a good read. both anime and manga are worth seeing and they go a bit into the psychological genre. (sadly the game has yet to be translated)
