I was wondering what some long mangas where? Like I was hoping some people could people out so manga that have over 100 chapters. I don't really have any preference. I like alot of manga that are totally opposite from each other. from gants to sazuka.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Hajime no Ippo are two very, very good, ongoing mangas.
The first is about fighting vampires and ancient Aztecs super-vampires with Kung fu then with psychic powers then finding a serial killer also with psychic powers then gangsters then lesbians in prison then a horse-race across 1890s America fighting dinosaurs searching for the mummified body parts of Jesus Christ. The second is about boxing.
Berserk is also pretty cool.
Yeah, I watched the anime of hajime no ippo but I thought it a pain in the ass to find where the anime left off in the manga. And for some reason I couldn't get into jojos bizarre adventure. It only got up to jojo and err what ever his name is fighting in the mansion and it burning down. Than the vampire guy made jack the ripper his desciple. And I read berserk also.
Eden, Elfen Lied, Battle Royale, Monster, 20th Century Boys, Ichigo 100%, Gantz, all have many chapters.
Touch, Rough, H2, Cross Game -- all sports manga by Misturu Adachi, all excellent even if you don't like sports stories. H2 is the longest.
Fruits Basket, InuYasha, Ranma 1/2 -- all fantasies.
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou -- science fiction.
Suzuka (ain't particularly long but it has over 100+ chapters like you wanted)

Hajime No Ippo - Sports (Boxing) Awesome realistic boxing manga.
New Grappler Baki - Fighting. Over the top, crazy fucking fighting.
Vagabond - Miyamoto Musashi. C'mon, who doesn't want to read about Japan's greatest swordsman? Even if it is an interpretation...
Change Guy - Fighting, Don't judge the manga by the first volume which is really slow and a bit boring, the rest is great.
School Rumble - ... See Great Teacher Onizuka's definition - but with more humor and less fighting...
Eyeshield 21 - Sports (Football) A little bit over the top but still good, hilarious/great characters.
P.S. Can't actually tell you if those are over 100Ch... I have all mine organized by volume. They're all 30+ Volumes though.
It occurs to me that number of chapters is not a great measure of length: manga that run in monthly magazines, such as Afternoon or Denki Daoih, are typically much longer than those that run in weekly magazines. It may take 8-10 chapters for a Shounen Jump series to fill a volume, but 4-5 for a Margaret series. Rough's 120 chapters fill 12 volumes, while Fruits Basket's 136 chapters are in 23 volumes.
Number of volumes, if you can find it, may be a better indicator of length.
