Thread: Looking for a Romance manga.

yeah I want something like Marmalade boy or Mars (NOT MAR, but Mars, big difference), I don't want it to be short, but I don't want one of those where the relationship never gets anywhere and they have like 200 chapters, know what I mean? Plz help. thank you.

Hmm. Isn't this supposed to be in the General Manga/Anime Discussion? *shrugs* at first glance, I thought you were asking for really long series ^^; but for now, I feel like recommending the following:

Basara - if you're into a good plot and larger than your usual shoujo characters, this one's for you. Try the anime (Legend of Basara) to get a feel of the series. The 13 episodes correspond to the first 5 volumes of the manga.
Hanazakiri No Kimi Tachi E (aka Hana Kimi or For You in Full Blossom) - a fun and lighhearted series about a girl 'secretly' attending an all boys' school (I'm watching the JDrama right now)
Tokyo Crazy Paradise - futuristic and action packed but still complete with the necessary shoujo elements (also SkipBeat! by the same mangaka).

SugarManga's got TONS of shoujo series.

AND if you want a shoujo masterpiece, go for the highly underrated Glass Mask (but the romance part doesn't come until much, much later). Enjoy!

I just remembered . . . since you like the plot of Marmalade Boy (stepbrother/sister thing), Akuma de Sourou (aka The Devil Does Exist) might be to your taste. For something similar to the angsty intensity of Mars (but totally different storyline), you should go for Please Save My Earth. It's not exactly my favorite but it has one of the most haunting scenes and is definitely one of the most memorable shoujo series I've come across.
