Yes, make sure to read everything by Junji Ito.

Also you should try this one called Seeds Of Paranoia (Fuan No Tane). You might find it a bit hard to find so I'll give you a wee hint http://rapidsearch.yi.org/?s=fuan+no+tane

Those are the best quintessential horror manga I can think of right now, but there are a couple of great horror/survival manga you could try as well like The Drifting Classroom and Dragonhead.

When I saw Horror, I mean real horror. Nothing in that book creeps you out unless you're sensitive. It's a good read though, really good read.

Narutaru and Parasyte are both science-fiction horror, Homunculus has psychological horror, Berserk has quite a lot of fantasy horror and Ichi the Killer is just all round horrifying.

That's all I can think of when it comes to manga. There are some very good horror anime you could watch though, such as 100 tales, Higurashi or Perfect Blue.

This is a good mystery kinda horror.
I don't know if this last one fits into the horror genre but it scared me ~~. And i really don't scary that easy, except for the dark.......... She scares me ><
