    Default Shoujo Manga

Well, I usually just read violent and gory manga 'cause they're badass. I used to think shoujo manga were lame. But I gave it a try 'cause I'm open to try things, and I've gotten hooked to 'em.

Anyways, the point. Anyone know a good site with either direct downloads or bittorrent with shoujo manga. (Besides from boxtorrents.com 'cause I've already d/l the ones there.) Would appreciate the help. ^_^

    I recommend

Hana Yori Dango - the greatest shoujo ever in my opinion, runs 36 volumes

Fruits Basket - very cute story with lovable characters. Syuura is hosting the chapters.

Parfait Tic - it's pretty interesting and you can get the chapters at http://mangaproject.cjb.net/

Hana-Kimi - a girl gets into an all-boys school to get closer to her crush. Over 20 volumes...can't remember how many exactly. Very handsome boys!

Hot Gimmick - Very cute and funny series. Different from the all lovey-dovey types! The heroine gets abused!

I'm collecting all the series I mentioned above, except for Parfait Tic, which isn't licensed in the US yet.

I think i can claim a little more expertise in the shoujo manga area, since i'm a girl and i read plenty of shoujo!

Anyway, just don't demote me to your disciple, martyr!

I'd like to recommend Kare Kano (his and her circumstances) and MARS as well. Kare Kano is really funny and has lots of romance. MARS mainly concentrates on relationships and the problems that come with the bonding of two really different types of people. The art of MARS is very pretty.

    descriptions from animenewsnetwork
kare kano - Yukino Miyazawa is really, really vain, and loves to hear people praise her. She's always been the best at everything, and always tries to look perfect. But when Yukino goes to high school, she's finally upstaged--by Souichiro Arima, who scores better on the entrance exams and instantly snatches the attention of the class. By accident, Arima finds out that Yukino is just pretending, and this starts off a series of events that lead to Yukino and Arima falling in love. They then have to cope with a lot of obstacles in their relationship.

MARS - Kira is an extremely introverted artist and Rei is a popular playboy with a frightening violent side. Touched by a gentle picture Kira drew, Rei makes a promise to protect her. Soon a friendship and romance develop and together they begin to confront the many demons of their pasts that are still haunting them, trying to build a peaceful future for themselves.
Mars span 15 books and tells the story of two star-cross lovers. Kira trubled by events that happen between her and her father. Rei dealing with death of his twin bother Sei,who kill himself right in front of Rei's eyes.Kira and Rei both have trubled live but they can make it throw togather.

*my personal favorite shoujo of all time is hana yori dango, which you can get via boxtorrents*

Hahahah, I leave the shoujo to you then! My temperament isn't suited to most of it (=. More of the dark, violent and morbid type myself. As always good to have another regular helping out (=.
