Thread: Historical characters

Well, I hope I don't get banned for this but I'm looking for a manga which features Nobunaga and/or Hideyoshi as main characters.
I saw that Manga "Mister Zipangu" but I don't know where to get it.

Edit: Seems ignition-one group did chapter 1 and 2 but I think they droped it - so it's not really important info but I wanted to correct myself

...Samurai Deeper Kyo has Nobunaga as a character (villain), although Hideyoshi doesn't show up (so far) and Ieyasu has a bigger part. I'd recommend trying it, though... can't hurt. Well, except for the fact that it has 100+ chapters scanlated.

Well, I watched the anime and it wasn't too great.

As you may have noticed I like Japanese history so I would like to know if there is another anime/manga dealing with it.
I don't only look for the 3 guys I metioned earlier but anything historical.

I read in a Ruroni Kenshin manga that there was an anime about the Shinsengumi, so any help finding it would be appreatiated.

I don't know much - I read Rurouni too, but it's only uses History as a bonus

Kaze Hikaru is a *shoujo* about the Shinsengumi... a good one, actually...

(Tsuki no Shippo? I think some historical people get mentioned in that, if you can, again, stand shoujo. Inuyasha *glares at anyone who criticizes* is a good [long] manga, although no historical figures are really mentioned. Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden partially takes place in the 1920s...)

SDK isn't that bad. Yuya is an annoying character, but I'd still give it a try. It's tolerable.

Peacemaker Kurogane is about Shinsengumi too. Note, an amazing one (at least anime).
