Thread: 2001 Nights (graphic novel) & Tale of Tales (russian animation)

Hey guys. I'm looking for scans of Yukinobu Hoshino's graphic novel 2001 NIGHTS. I've been consistently reading reviews saying the trilogy's really good but--to my knowledge--it isn't available anywhere near where I'm at.

I'm also looking for the 1979 russian animation TALE OF TALES by Yuri Norstein (also spelled as Yuriy Norshteyn). It's been declared twice by critics worldwide as the greatest animated film of all time so I'm really curious about it. I would greatly appreciate links for any of his three other masterpieces as well.

PS: If any of you have read 2001 NIGHTS or have seen TALE OF TALES (or any other animation by Yuri Norstein for that matter), do share with me what you think of their works. I understand my download requests are a bit hard to find so . . . Thank you.

PPS: I've seen portions of Norstein's more than 20 years unfinished THE OVERCOAT animation and (though it was low resolution) thought it was quite impressive. Check it/him out @ wiki.

Thanks. I've seen one-third of TALE OF TALES at YouTube and it was really impressive. Viewing it from a small screen doesn't do it justice though.

I found his earlier animation HEDGEHOG IN THE FOG but that's all there is to hunt from YouTube (and it doesn't have subs!). No one here seems to know Norshteyn nor where to find his works *sigh*
