Default Read If You Can't Use BitTorrent and/or IRC...

We have a lovely section called BitTorrent and IRC Help. We also have lovely members who are willing to help.

Unless you have a firewall that prevents you from using IRC (which is understandable), I don't want to hear "I can't use BT/IRC for some reason" again.

Google exists. Google your problem and find help for it.

Direct downloads are not the source of life! Really! If you can't use IRC or BT because you haven't tried, it's kinda unfair to expect people to upload things just for you. I'm sorry I'm getting so touchy on this, but you have to TRY.

Go ask there. Next time I'm closing the thread if you can't give me a good reason why you can't use BitTorrent or IRC and want a direct download or something.

And for the record... if you can download IRC, you can use #lurk. It doesn't take a genius (or an idiot, for that matter) to use #lurk. It's easier than direct downloads, for goodness's sake. >_>

Sorry, I'm jus new 2 this 4um and I can see that Bittorrent often too slow, why not use another hosts with speedy upload like rapidshare, mediafire or megaupload. I think they're all fine even though you don't have premium account

There are numerous reasons, actually. Among them are the fact that those sites often have taken measures that prevent people from downloading unlimited files - for example, a cap on how much someone can download in a day. That means if you want anime, it takes LONGER (since on some of those sites, the max is 1GB). Also, people who use proxies or who are from certain countries can't use it at all, because they're maxed out.

There's also the tiny little problem of bad connections. I have a bad connection, therefore I can't download from those sites because it will time out. Bittorrent doesn't do that.

So as you can see, there are very good reasons to use it. And in the end, you'll still get exactly what you want.
