So it appears that Aoyama indeed has an ending in mind, or on paper somehwere. I think that it will end up appearing sooner rather than later.

WOW, 20 years detective conan have been around :smt119.. I feel sad it will be over soon..

can't wait to see the end... but the mangaka said even though the ending is thought-out, it might not appear for awhile =(

Hopefully all of the loose ends will be tied at the end. DC ending with an open ending wouldn't feel right.

Exactly what I understand in hat Aoyama-sensei said. He said he had an ending planned, but doesn't know when it'll be in action. I think he still has lots with Conan & Co. in store and mind. Which is actually a good thing <3
