Thread: Wat would happen if they werent at the scene of the crime everytime

wat would happen if the were asked to solve a case tat was two days old, i mean they r always at the scene of the crime.

the one where the dude jumps off the chair into a knife... i think that was an old crime scene. there are probably a bunch more.

but you're right, it's statistically improbable that they'd run into so many crime scenes.

The criminals are very clever and always plan ahead, but what makes me puzzled is that they need to wait for Conan and Mouri to turn up before committing their crimes. It's almost like Shinichi is the mastermind behind everything and he asks the criminals to do the crime so that he can show off his deductive skills (this is just nonsense... of course).

There wouldn't be so many Conan chapters .

I think kyon and koizumi had this discussion (Lone Island syndrome). I can't remember the whole discussion though. All I remember is that events such as mysteries and murders frequently happen around detectives in detective stories because the story wouldn't be interesting if it didn't.

if i recall correctly, it was something about the probability of such incidents happening around detectives is not high, but because they are special, they attract incidents to themselves.

Well, for the first queston, it happened that Conan (using sleeping Kogorou or not) had solved cases that happened two days ago or more. For another thing that somebody commented about Conan the Mastermind, WTF? Come on, we are talking about a detective manga, not a fantasy manga. Even the drug that shrunk Shinichi can scientifically exist, but dont make Conan the mastermind of all.

For the last things, lets remember that this is a detective manga. Normally they are around cases of murdering, kidnapping, or worse things, so its like they have a curse (Aoyama also makes that dumb police whose name i dont remember say it, so its funny to read that part). If you watch a chapter of Lucky Star, they commented that it wouldnt be funny to see a detective finding a lost cat, for example, so dont expect these things.
