Is it over yet...?

What I mean is is showing any sign that the manga is coming to an end?

The latest chapters - 595-604 have been the major turning point. And the scheme that Conan has for Rena Mizunashi may reveal who exactly Shinichi has to outsmart...

depends. we're on a BO arc right now, and BO arcs can end the story. or they could become another dead end, and we'll be going through a few hundred more chapters till the next BO arc.

I think after Rena will go back to the BO. it'll be about 30-50 conan weeks till the next BO arc. I think there will be another 600 chapters before conan ends,

If it does end, i hope it has enough time to totally wrap up all the loose ends and have a spectacular finale. Even though i'm nowhere near the latest chapters (Still on like 175 or something) but i hope it doesnt end for another 75-80 chapters, at least get to 700 and then thats good...

overall, this manga is just ridiculous. its good, but i dont see why its so long. id get it if something like naruto or bleach was long, but not this.

it's been going on for years. Shinichi, or rather Conan, should probably be in his high school and Ran would see how odd it is that he looks so much like Kudo. Ran should've been married by now, and already has a child with whoever her husband is.

No no. assuming 1 week = 1 day(conan time), so its only approximately 605 days, should've been 2 years by now.

btw magicbullet girl if you are reading this what's takaya natsuki's new manga o_O. I just read the last chapter of fruits basket >.> and I can't seem to find what was written in the end of the manga =/. I mean this month is the start of spring >.<

If supposedely there are 605 chapters, assuming that 1 case = 1 day, and if 1 day = 3-4 chapters, then it should be around 151-202 days, which isn't really a year I guess.

After reading several hundred chapters and some of the more recent ones from Vol 53-55 I can say no way... It may never end until the writers are gone... and then the assistant artists may start their own series with the exact same title such as Detective Conan goes to London for a 8 volume setting. Then goes to Austraila for 4 more volumes and returns to Japan for the finisher, which turns out to be 30 more volumes.

It seems like Conan solves all the crimes in the city or something in within a day or two for most things.

I skipped around from vol 28 to vol 50 so I may have missed some very very important details.
