    Oh, really? I didn't know...but oh well. I like KID better in the DC series, he seems a lot more developed and cool. XD

    Detective Conan is not made to follow the plot along with the BO fully but rather it was made as another one of those detective mangas. Like when you read detective series, they each have different cases for mystery fans to enjoy and solve, DC is just like that. But of course, a manga wouldn't be fun if it didn't have an interesting plot to it. This is like Spiral, where it kinda starts out having each cases but later it gets so into the plot it rather doesn't really become a detective manga anymore. (note: rather, it becomes fantasy later on) These cases are not seen as fillers but rather it's what makes it Detective Conan Detective Conan and are drawn for fans to enjoy. It's the cases itself what fans are to enjoy one by one rather than waiting forever for the main plot to come in cause that's more like the side dish to end the series and make it more interesting with huge twists and turns.

    For the character designs, at first they were okay but it seem that Aoyama Gosho is kinda running of out designs due to the extreme amount of characters he's drawing so he's creating very strange looking characters... -_-;;

    Also, anyone noticed how no characters between the ages of 12-16 appear in small cases cept for any younger versions of the main characters? (they're all usually very young children or adults)

    I like DC that way, the way how it isn't just mystery cases one after another, but rather, the main plotline is slipped in, here and there, though its becoming more and more prominent in the later chapters. (yah, some action!! xD)

    Despite Aoyama Gosho's character designs, I enjoy his manga. The drawing sits fine with me, so I'm okay with it. (Though I do notice how he draws people within a certain age limit and with certain repeating characteristics...but there are tons of characters...so oh well xD)

    edit// Though comparing Aoyama's first drawings to his current ones...there's a big big improvement. xD

    Yeah, Rumiko Takahashi (And I don't know, I think it's kinda nice when the drawings look consistent from start to finish)

    true rumiko's art is not what you call the best of the best but the story kinda makes up for it...

    I watch the anime but there is a huge gap between like ep100 to like ep300+ so that kind of pisses me off. I enjoy the anime however it annoys me at the same time.

    They tend to drag out this series a lot. The men in black always seem to slip by Shinichi and the next episode is like a completely different storyline. It's like he forgot about how close he was to returning back to normal just the other day. >_>

    ^Well, then the manga would've ended already and that wouldn't be too fun now would it? XD
    And some time did pass from one main plot story going on to another normal one.

    Aoyama Gosho is the best manga artist, his style may be unique and very different but his use of background, subject balance, details, use of pages and character movement and structure to clothes, texture use, and really bringing out anything in a scene with nice tone use and the overall picture frame of each and every scene, he really knows how to draw a manga. He is a true artist, having an experience of 20 years. XD His drawings are something to learn from when learning how to draw manga and practicing from it is helpful but his style is so incredibly hard to draw it correctly. Ever tried drawing the eyes? HARD.
