would you use it? would your conscience allow it?

Well somebody at my school would become an hero whether they like it or not...

I'd keep it somewhere I know I won't be able to reach easily. I think I'm too coward to kill someone, even for righteous reasons. All the same, perhaps, if I am in the correct mood, I may give it a proper use. Who knows?

aaa.....i don't think anyone would do that, unless that person would be really emo.

geesh, i don't think i want to know what i would do...i think i would test it, to see if it works but then i would get freaked out and never use it again . or cleanse the world...:P

I would kill persons like Osama bin Laden, Kim Jong Il, and such, then I would spreed the news to the world that there is now a new god on this world who punishes everyone that deserves it.

I would go the Light way, but not as much as killing EVERY bad person in the world...
Just the most evil ones, and fear will dominate the minds of the other minor evil persons.

Surely I would use the Deathnote on a semi-regular basis for my private crusade, of course.

Hell no. What if they wanted to kill me?

I'd just have somebody I killed give them access to the gun then write "shoots him/herself to death after killing *blank*, *blank* and *blank*".

Ah! Now I understand the "becoming an hero" part (although, they wouldn't be killing themselves because they were emo, but due to the fact that you made them kill themselves) but, there is a flaw in your plan, with the Death Note, you cannot make your target kill other people, remember?

I'd kill most argentinian politicians. We need better people to rule our country.

That is easily remedied. I simply get everyone I want to kill to go onto the second floor while the gunman "chases" us. After that I write "head injury from jumping off the second floor" as the cause of death.
