whell as far as i could desiver from stuff he has no real nationality. Just that the person who draw it was told he is part japanese and a part something in the line of something of those countries

L's name (lawliet - pronounced low-light (ironic? raito=light)
the name stems actually from the nederlands/holland, i dont know if this is his origin by a direct link, i used to have one, but lost it *stoned to death by fans*
so theres food for thoguht, since whammy house (as said earlier in this thread) is located in england, that gives lead to his tournament story.
anyways, comment or something, i like reading here, i rarely comment though ^-^

I heard that was actually false and to clear that. I'm from Netherlands ( we speak dutch for those who do not know ) and it does not ring a bell

ahah, well sorry if i'm wrong, ^-^; as i mentioned, i no longer have the link, it was on a very deverse site, and since i lost the link, i wouldnt know if it was a correction or not, so i'll admit its a high possibility i'm wrong.
and try as i might, i cannot find volume 13 in australia yet >.<

not saying your wrong just saying i haven't heard of such a word. And that i heard somewhere that was a false rumor but maybe they thought it was a dutch word who knows...

does anyone own the volume 13? or know where an english version is available? this'd be interesting to see.

i do not own it but i did find an japanese version and do not know if there is an english version out there yet. Personally i do not think so but i could be mistaken
