Thread: DeathNote: The Last Name

Just bought it myself, anyone got any opinions? Views on it?
I saw the diversion from the manga plot wise and the twist as quite interesting! i wont post any spoilers unless others have seen it too, dont wanna ruin most possibly 06 and 07's best anime live action movie!
If you havent seen it i'll be a horrible person and say watch it over youtube, but then to my defense i'll say it's completely worth what ever price you need to pay to buy the dvd! *prepares to be hit by tsugumi ohba and takeshi obata for ripping them off cash*

It was not bad but the heart attack was crappy and bad acting but the end was nice with L seeing light's death and die after him and the girls are really nice worth watching,but most of the people i know hate that movie.

peronaly, i love death note, its the best thing ive seen in ages.. imo, the anime does it better than the manga, cause some of the movements and transitions are superb..

but... the films are done poorly.. L's actor is trying waaay to hard to slouch.. if that even makes sence XD the heart atacks were way overacted.. and the ending made no sence!! right now i'm watching the anime and reading the manga at the same time, so i havent seen past volume 7 or so, but could someone please re-assure me that the manga doesnt end in that way!

The films are terrible, and I think the anime is inferior to the manga, simply because it ignores the central moral issues presented in the manga.

death note goes in my top 5. its one of the only mangas tht starts gd and ends gd.
