the author...who is she/he really?
Ok, I finished death note recently, and was intrigued by the possibility of Tsugumi Ohba having several aliases, and also being nearly untrackable by anyone, much like as we all know, L...
I have found the obvious rumours, including that Tsugumi Ohba would only be a pen name of Yuuko Asami and that she may also go by Takeshi Obata.
Something that others may have noticed before I, would be that the initials are the same, T.O. or O.T...
From http://www.answers.com/topic/tsugumi-ohba , there is another rumour is that she is also Hiroshi Gamou.
Also, all the 'intelligent' characters from deathnote have an alphabetical order in them, first we see Kira/ K, then L, M, N. After veiwing these characters and before i see Mat, i figured he would be 'O'.
However, I already from this, O is the authore him/herself, and also hold the idea that this creator has at least 10 aliases, from 'T' or 'O' down to 'Y' as Yuuko Asami.
I know this may seem basic, but i am thinking in doing full research on this myself, and if possible, track down all names related to the three above.
There are many gaps in the authors Bio, and gaps are to be filled.
Even if by doing this, I am starting to think this is what he/she wants... perhaps he/she wants the death note manga to become 'real' and wants to see if anyone can work out her identity, just as kira works out ls, although fails in death...but that isnt likely unless the author is also some crazy psycho-killer, lol ^.^ (sorry if im blaggouring now...im tired...)
What do the rest of you feel? Do you believe that this creator has as many as 10 aliases? And would you in anyway think you can find someting to link to this?
I wouldnt be suprised if the autor was a psycho killer, you never know :] Yech meybe it really is a game for the fans to find who is he/she ;] Would be cool if there was a trace of clues to find the indentity ;]
well, the only ones i have found so far are the ones mentioned, and also, on wikipedia if you search for Ohba, part of it comes up with this:

It is highly likely that, due to the avatars used by Ohba, that she is in fact a she. In all of the communications from Ohba to the fans of Deathnote, the small picture box shows a woman."
If I'm not wrong, the story was written by one person and the manga was drawn by another one ^_^ The mangaka's name is Takeshi Obata, and I love his style the most! Another my favorite manga series by him is "Hikaru no Go"!
well, you never know, I am trying to write a manga and do the art myself at the moment, so she could have desided to tell others that it was done by someone else for the sake of it, to not get so much attention....
