You post in "Dah COMPLETE lounge" and in "Confess Your Mess," do you not? Those threads do not fall under the categories you just mentioned. People post in those threads, and so far, no one has been banned.

It seems that conversational threads are okay right now, and it seems that's the purpose of this thread. Just because you don't visit the ST-Hub doesn't give you any right to say this thread is useless.

Honestly, it is quite annoying when some of you have this 1337 behaviour. If you do not have anything to do/say in this thread, then simply do not post in it.

I agree entirely.

Quite frankly, majority of the people who responded in this thread were plain RUDE. BAD TO ALL OF YOU! Double standards to all of you. So, it's okay to talk about the ST IRC channel and NOT talk about the ST hub? SHAME TO ALL! Yes, this is allowed to be in the CC section. shesh! If I labeled it "Best of ST HUB" you guys would show no problems....

I have a lot of respect for those guys in the ST hub. Back during its creation, I used to be a member/operator of that hub as well. [complications on my side made it not possible for me to go back to the DC hub]

I'm glad to hear EoS is a hub operator. That definitely make sure that somebody is watching over it since I know me and the other 2 people who were suppose to operate over it died out over there...

EoS is a great guy. That guide he made was awesome (thus I stickied it in the Help Section). He's always on top of things. =D

Agreed, thread's don't need "vet's" approval and interest, BTW you used to get warned and ultimately even banned for 'in before lock' posts so gtfo.


Anyway, 10 TB? nice, last time I was in there the average was 4-6 TB, great to know the hub's growing, I'll try to drop in more, got half TB free space left (I thought I would be very close on the top with just 500-600 GB.. lol). :s and lol, I didn't know EoS had that much in share, he doesn't have anything in share when I'm on.

Yeah, so maybe those of us who don't know/care about the hub act accordingly in this thread, but that's what we do with every other as well. Someone posts an article one of us finds stupid, that person will let the rest know. I don't see the problem here.

What's your problem? isn't it great news that ST can solve everything? :P we're merely just discussing the new level that ST has achieved, that's totally different than accusing someone to get banned for posting in the right section for things that are related to the site.
Besides, I belive that thread belongs to the tech section.
Argue if you want but do it through PM, I see how people have gained huge post counts.

Okay. The fact that we are allowed to talk about DC++ doesn't absolve this cloud person from posting in an intelligent manner.

Okay, so maybe someone who uses DC++ will be able to make sense out of his first bit about sharing.

But then he goes on to talk about common barnyard animals and lengthened felines. What the fuck?!?

I agree that we shouldn't put on our elitist hats and flame noobs for making posts that we are not interested in, but noobs making unintelligible posts that aren't particularly amusing, I believe we can flame.

And so...I come to the conclusion that cloud200 needs to take English lessons. But that DC++ is an amazing tool anyway.

There isn't a thing that amuses everyone, he probably tried that but oh well. (okay, I admit, I only understood that long cat thing, I don't get the goat and egyptian cat thing).
