Thread: D.Gray-Man Chapter 185 - The Marie Chapter

Raw is out.

Okay, it's not really about Marie - but he plays a pretty big role here.

Anyway, this is a very text-heavy chapter. We do get to see all five new Crow, who look pretty awesome (and all have two dots on their foreheads!). Madarao looks hot, Tewaku looks pretty neat, not sure about the other three. They also remind me of Claymore, though... <_< Not that Claymore isn't a really awesome manga in itself.

Oh, and it looks like we're going to be hearing about Kanda soon! So I guess this is the "Kanda arc"? =P

aw man this sucks sense im using a school computer the link is blocked ....... now i have to wait to get home just to look at the raw *sob* i... cant.... wait. (TT_TT) thank you very much.

Raw finished... When I think that we'll have more of the 14th-Noah family tale, Hoshino-sensei turns the flow to another direction... Particulary, I can't see D Gray finishing soon (Just random thoughts, I'm still waiting for translation xP). Anyway, Lavi and Bookman are back. Bak too. Akuma-powered Crows. And just when looks thats Allen it's finally healed, they've bloodied his face.

Awesome! Now we'll see some of Kanda and now we know why Crow can beat Akuma. There was a lot of information in this chapter.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but those weren't masks, right?

Ah, and I need to clarify something that I still can't figure out, and I'm sure Digi should know: Did this story explicitly state that Japan is devoid of human life at this time? During the whole Pre-Arc Arc when they arrived there it seemed that it was stated in some odd ways that it was just that - dead.

I bring that up just because those Crow people seem to have an ancient Japanese theme going on.

I believe they're not, but in some sense look like "masks". After all, the Crows are half-akuma, so I was expecting some deformity in a higher level, but it seems they're similars to Claymores

Wonder if they are General level? Madarao did beat a level 3 Akuma [or was it a lvl 2?]

That would seem to be a hard thing to measure considering how they designate the generals. The only requirements seemed to be 100% synchronization and at least some experience.

As crows don't have innocence to synchronize with, and there are so few of them, I guess it'd be hard to tell how strong they are without equal opponents fighting them separately from the exorcists.

I guess their leader should be on that level or something...

And I just said that because:
1) of their arrogance xD
2) of the ease Madarao sucked in that Akuma
3) of the ease Allen was pwned now :P

I wonder if we'll finally get to know more about Kanda, and his mysterious tattoos.
