Thread: D.Gray-Man Chapter 183 - Nineteen Pages of Blank Eyes

And finally, the arc ends.

We see very few eyes in this chapter (I could barely get through it, I admit). It's annoying. Just as annoying as the resolution, which, in a comedic style, has the Order agreeing to pay for the debts and stuff on the orphanage, Timothy joining the Order, and Emilia saying she'll follow. However, there is a touching scene at the end with Timothy and the Mother Superior, at least.

Also, Allen has a massive scar now. Yes, that means we do get to see his bare chest in its entirety. :3

Good to see this arc is pretty much over, though.

Finally... This arc was a little long, and the unique bright point for me was Allen 'awakening' during the fight with the level 4. I see that Timothy can become one annoyance for Komui in the future (I'm expecting when he meets Lenalee u.U). Can Timothy remember the memories or feelings of someone he possessed once? If so, we can expect more blackmail, at very least for Allen and Link :P.


Ps.: I'm starting to feel much more sorry for Allen. If a parasite innocence burden the body wasn't enough, now we see that large scar... Katsura sensei sure want to put him under suffering. Well, at least we can expect one hell of hapiness for him (I hope so )

It wasn't actually all that long of an arc - just eleven chapters. Of course, the long hiatus in the middle definitely didn't help. But looking back on it, it's surprising how short this arc actually was, and how little really happened, in a way.

The 14th was definitely one of the highlights. (I'd put Link on that level, too. His badassery can't be ignored.)

Hopefully, Timothy will be reduced to a fairly minor character now that his story has been resolved. I doubt he'll go after Lenalee; not only have Komui and Allen both shown a tendency to assault anyone behaving inappropriately towards her, she also doesn't quite have the large, uh, well, they're not like Emilia's. Which kind of made me do a double take in this chapter.

Not sure if Timothy can go through memories... I'd say no. For one, it's too h4x. For another, his ability is to take over bodies and use them (like akuma), not do anything with their souls. Having him be a mind-reader would be way too much, and I presume we'd have seen him making use of that if he could do it. Timothy's a pretty ruthless kid.

I seriously hope that scar heals, to some extent. Having THAT for the rest of his life because of one mistake? Maybe since it isn't the usual kind of scar... it's also bigger than the actual sword, so maybe it's just a temporary wound...?

The scar was awesome. The chapter was ok, I thought it was a good closure, but the scar made it better.

She'll probably punch him in the head for being stupid and scream at him for a few minutes. Or just cry. Hmm... WILL she ever get to see it? If Allen doesn't walk around exposing his bare chest...

I was thinking of Link exposing him (revenge for the "furniture" thing xD). Anyway, she's going to find out sooner or later (maybe even Kanda can slip it to her), but I'm really wishing that'll be Allen who'll tell her. This is one of the "romantic" moments tha D. Gray is lacking lately.

And the scar really was cool,I agree with Tamiel there ^^ But it´ll probably heal to some extent....

And the last joke with link being like a piece of furniture to Allen was hilarious xDD
