Hoshino Sick Yet Again; DGM on Hiatus

i dare say you'll find d.gray-man pretty distracting ;) i might even envy you the fun of reading it (ofcourse i could reread it, but i already know what's happening later, so the tension wouldn't be the same)
i didn't like the story too well lately, so maybe hoshino-sensei's sick-time isn't too bad (for me - for her i am sorry). hoping to be in the right mood when she's fit again :)
(did anyone else get totally confused by the last few chapters, or is it just me? it's almost as bad as with tsubasa chronicles - well, there i don't get it at all - what time are we in right now??)

I myself haven´t read the last chap yet,but some months after Cross´ assassination have passed,and it looks they are getting ambushed by Akuma who try to get the Innocence from that boy from the orphanage....

The current arc hasn't been the best. I'm sure there's a good reason for it (and we've seen a few ideas so far, such as showing off a certain character's badassery), but overall, it feels more like the zombie arc filler. Not so great. And the timeskips (you mean those, right?) bothered me the most; I wonder if Hoshino was facing pressure by her editors or something to do those and get to the filler.

As BlueDemon said, three months have passed since the Cross stuff, and it's December (so more than one year has passed since Allen entered the Order). They're in Paris, and dealing with the phantom thief G, whose powers appear to be related to Innocence.

178 right? Also mangaka's should REALLY start getting vitamins or something. lol. Being sick nowadays (for the general public) is hell on your life (add to the fact that you'll be bed ridden, depending on how severe the sickness is).

Also, catching up isn't that much of a problem (for any series acutally), the only problem is trying NOT to abandon the series during the break.

I suppose... it'd kinda suck to catch up and then have to wait weeks for the next chapter after going through so many at once! Here's hoping she'll be better soon - maybe January or something, y'know?

It seemed pretty serious; there's no given return date, and the cause is apparently intestinal damage (bleeding?). Mid-December seems a bit early to me... but who knows. =)

Well, there is the fact that two double issues of Jump (04-05 and 06-07) are coming up at the end of December/early January, so even if Hoshino did recover, we might not know or get chapters anyway~ I think it's easier to not know at all, though, than to see weeks go by with an absent DGM (really absent).

Then I guess she'll be out longer then. Though I wish her good health. Health > work (though i think that's already a given.)
