Cross said that if/once Allen became the 14th (not sure what word was used there), he'd have to kill "important humans" or something like that. It seems likely that Allen interpreted it as someone important to him, though.

We've seen Allen wake up from his eye activating, so it seems unlikely that it was an akuma, and was it not there before? A Noah is a possibility, assuming there is one in the Order - if there was, and one who would be at HQ at that time (the move wasn't until the next day), why have Lulubell infiltrate earlier?

Well, I'm just guessing afterall. I don't put nearly as much effort in what I say as you do Digi. Anything is possible, and right now I'm more worried about Marie than whether General Cross is alive or not. I think Cross is still alive because he stayed next to that window for a long time. If my physics serves me correctly, I doubt he would have fallen out of the room right when no one was looking, after hours had past beforehand. I think either he was knocked out and gained some slight consciousness or someone grabbed him and ran off.

Sorry... ._.;; Um... We don't know if hours passed from the time he was shot to the time he fell out the window somehow. It could have been a few minutes, or, as you say, hours (although the sun was rising/had risen during the incident, so it can't have been that long). It seems strange to me that he'd fall out the window on his own after such an injury, intentionally or not... and it seems more likely (to me) that someone else was there (in the room, probably) to get him out of there. Whether or not that person shot him, though...

It's true that we probably won't get an answer for a while, and there's more pressing things to think and worry about in this current arc.

Well, I'm just speculating on what my memory of the chapter was, and my memory isn't very good, I admit. But I'm pretty sure that the body was missing after he fell, so either he ran off (unlikely), or someone took him.

It probably was, since those who found the body would probably have gone looking for it. Someone having taken it seems the most likely to me... there would probably be bloodstains everywhere if Cross ran off, and they could track him (a bodynapper could have found a way to deal with it).
