Yeah, and who's to say that Allen isn't? Allen CAN'T go off on his own and find out that sort of thing, and it doesn't seem like Kanda to judge based on the fact that Allen's still in the Order. Seems more like Kanda's just PMSing than anything else after how angry he got at Miranda... maybe he's tense about his own life shortening or something, but I doubt it has anything to do with Allen (besides the fact that the guy exists).
It's hard to say what Allen's thinking. He might be worried that the 14th will act when he can't do anything about it, contrary to what he said earlier, or he might just be angry that Levellier would blame him/14th and do it so lightly, too (Allen was also angry when offered cake, something he usually likes).
It seems very likely that Cross was attacked and caught off-guard, or at least unable to do anything about it even if he did have warning. He might not be dead for other reasons, but it seems very unlikely he faked his death. That blood was real, after all, and DGM doesn't seem like the kind of anime where the characters have a ridiculous amount of blood.
Maybe it was all a set-up, and Cross Marian himself is involved. He said it himself, things are more complicated than they look.
Could be, although then why would he grab a gun when he heard someone approaching? (In case it wasn't who he thought it was?) But it seems more likely that Central did it, and it's difficult to see Cross of all people co-operating with them... hmm...
The weird part is that for someone as strong as Cross, I find it weird that he never fired his weapon since he already had drawn it. Not to mention that he was waiting for the door to open. There is no other sign of entry except the door.

Cross wouldn't necessarily have known who was coming, though. What if it had been Komui or Allen or someone else he wouldn't have wanted to hurt? The attacker had the advantage since s/he'd have known Cross was in the room - he was talking to himself, after all - and wouldn't have needed those few moments to ascertain who it was.
It was pretty rude of Levellier to offer Allen cake in the room where his master died. =P And of course Allen doesn't really seem to get along with the man, either. Warning... you mean, about what might happen to him? Allen already mentioned that he's going to stop the 14th if anything happens, but yeah, he probably is a bit on edge. Obviously the other Exorcists aren't really concerned, probably because they don't know all the details... but we really need to see Allen interact with some others he's normally closer to (okay, LENALEE) since everything else we've seen is pretty inconclusive.
i think that maybe Allen killed Cross, like he said "you'll have to kill the people who are important to you .. when you turn into the fourteenth"
i can't wait for the next chapter >_<!!
lol, first post
Yeah, but he hasn't turned into the 14th, and he was with Lenalee all night. It wasn't Allen. -_- Even Levellier said it wasn't.
