Volume 16

I saw it in the shops today, but haven't bought it yet.
Just thought I'd tell anyone who's interested (DE) that the cover has the Science team - Johnny, Tapp, and a couple of others. And Komui in the background.

Will probably buy it tomorrow and stick up a pic :)

Yeah, I saw. =) It's a really pretty cover. I'm not super fond of the characters, but it's nicely coloured and made me emotional just by seeing the picture.

(I'll be getting my copy late, argh. No money to buy it and the anime theme best.)

Volume 16: Next Stage
Chapters 150-160

There's a bunch of little one-page short comics between chapters, but nothing that looks too impressive. I'll give em a read and if there's anything good, I'll stick it up later :)

Yeah, the hand is probably that of the POV-person - Lenalee? It'd fit with seeing Komui's back in the open door. And damn, Reever... he got sexy!

I'm just upset that we didn't get a Level 4 Akuma cover. I would have loved to see a lovingly drawn and coloured Level 4, rather than a bunch of guys whose names I don't even know. Tapp's even already dead by the time of this volume :( And there won't really be another chance to have a L4 one.

Dammit.

Yeah, true about the science guys (Hoshino's been focusing on them more, though). Recent volume covers have been much more emotional/romantic... in a sense... artistic, I guess you could say. While earlier covers were dark and kinda creepy, newer ones have reflected another side of things with softer colours and all. The level 4 was SCARY; I guess s/he just wouldn't have fit with the theme Hoshino wanted to set.
