Great chapter. Finally some explaining to what happened these past ten days.
I'm a little disappointed that they all accept it so easily, though.

That didn't really explain anything, did it? We actually saw everyone be told about Allen, but we already knew they had been told. And we saw the introduction of a couple of new characters (why?).

The only really interesting bit here I think was the whole Tim/Revellier thing. Dunno what that was about. Kinda seems like Revel's trying to work something out, and he was staring at the spot where Cross's mask was lying before it disappeared. Did he know about it? Or did he just hear Tim coming? And was Tim trying to pass on a message quietly to Revel?

For what Allen says, it seems that Tim was going there quite frequently... I don't think that Tim was trying to pass anything to Revel/Hitler.

Although a little disappointed with the chap (was expecting to see Lenalee reaction), i'm glad that the waiting is finally over. Good to see new characters too (has Komui found a partner? )

Finally we can get rid of Stalker Johnny. ^____^ He has a love interest!

Cross's mask didn't disappear, did it? I think that was left behind when the body disappeared. I wonder if that's proof that Levellier didn't do it/wasn't involved after all, that he'd still be sitting in the room as if trying to figure out what happened ten days later. He's like a detective. Not sure what's up with Timcanpy; perhaps that was what it was trying to do (a message). Perhaps it was trying to redirect Levellier's attention to something else that might solve the mystery.

...and we have two more female characters! I sort of see Bridget being the Link to Komui's Allen (Komui's been a bit of a rebel himself), since she was sent from Central. I can't really see her being a love interest to KOMUI (he seemed sorta unenthusiastic about her being there. Hm, maybe he IS gay?), but perhaps a certain scientist who also spends a lot of time trying to get Komui to do work... :3

I seem to remember the mask being there when Cross disappeared, but then later the mask was gone too... can't really remember, maybe the officials just took it away.

And yeah, Bridget's hot. Awesome.

The mask was there when Cross disappeared. They probably did take it away later on, for forensic tests or something... I dunno. Not surprised that it's gone ten days later. Either way, Levellier would almost certainly have seen the mask there (the investigators wouldn't have removed it without letting him see the scene first).

So he's probably innocent, and we know Allen didn't do it (as if sleeping with Lenalee wasn't enough, inner monologue shows Allen has no idea what happened to Cross).

(Guys, this reminds me of the murder mystery in the Wheel of Time series. Har har.)

Bridget/Reever ftw. Not as good as Johnny/Tapp, though.

Hmmmm, wishful thinking, no? Anyway, I wonder what it was that Cross gave Tim and if it's related to Cross' getting shot (though that's a 99% chance of being so). Right now, I'm interested in seeing how Lenalee and Allen react to each other, since flashback aside, I don't remember seeing her in the chapter at all.

Me too. Really, right now i'm not interessed with the whole "Cross death" thing. With the revelation that Allen has the 14th memories, i was expecting that we'ld
got to see his friends reactions. Allen even have said to kill him if he turn against them, so i was wondering why we don't see Lenalee showing any reaction at all. Maybe the next chap we can see more of this relantionships (althoug the cliffhanger points to another "Cross death" moment...)

Ps.: I really liked Miranda in this one...

It is not unrealistic to say that Allen might leave the exorcist building(or place) where he is right now. The only person(non-exorcist and non-bookmen) who's on Allen's side so far is Lenalee's brother. Like all other governments or people responsible, their true aim is controlling the weapon(ArK) so they wont have any use or feel strapped by the only capable user of that weapon(here Allen). You guys saw how they tried to interrogate Allen on how to control the Ark and they currently have scientist trying to figure it out.
My guess is, once they figure or if they ever figure it out. they want have any use for Allen whom they see as a potential threat since his connections to the 14th and as a possible Noah was revealed.
So my guess is, Allen might leave and Lenalee was leave to search for him or something.
