Thread: Filler episodes

I just started watching and I would like to know where the filler episodes starts and ends so I can skip over the downloads entirely. I watch them in batches so I can't really "feel" it coming till its already on my computer lol

Kinda depends what you call fillers....
Episodes 15-18 and 25-50 were almost entirely not in the manga, although there were a few bits and pieces taken from random pages, or from the Reverse novels published alongside the manga... most of it wasn't very good though.

Personally I picked up watching again after 51, and it's been a pretty decent adaptation from that point on.

We're sure to get some more fillers soon, though... They've gone at a pretty decent pace through the Ark, and that's almost over. At this rate, they'll be running into the manga again...

I thought 13-15 were filler, too? Hm. The few episodes I saw in the beginning weren't exactly accurate to the plot, though, so if you've read the manga already (which you should have, because it's awesome), maybe... would it be possible to skip ahead to 51 without seeing any earlier episodes? 51 corresponds to the end of volume 5/beginning of volume 6.
